The owner dashboard.
Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

A walkthrough of every section in the PsTally owner dashboard — what it shows, what to look for, and how to use it to run a tighter operation.

DAILY ROUTINE

Most owners spend 2–3 minutes per day on the dashboard: check the WhatsApp report when it arrives at shift close, open the dashboard once in the morning to review yesterday’s cashout, and glance at monitoring if an alert fired. The rest is there when you need it.

Dashboard

The main dashboard shows today at a glance: active sessions, revenue so far today, any open debts, and current monitoring status. It updates in real time. This is the screen you check from your phone when you want a quick read on what's happening.

Sessions

Every session ever opened on your account is here. Filter by date, staff member, bay, or game. Sessions show start time, end time, duration, game, payment method, and amount. If a session was paid partially or on credit, that's visible here.

Cashouts (shift reports)

Each closed shift appears as a cashout record. You'll see cash collected, M-Pesa collected, opening float, expenses during the shift, and the final balance. Shifts that didn't reconcile are flagged. This is the same summary that went to your WhatsApp.

Expenses

Any money recorded as leaving the till during a shift — transport, food, change given — shows here. Review this alongside cashouts to understand where money moved during the day.

Debts

Sessions paid on credit ("owes") create debt records. The Debts page shows who owes what, when it was incurred, and whether it's been cleared. Follow up from here and mark debts as settled when paid.

Income

A consolidated view of all revenue across sessions. Filter by date range to see a week, a month, or a custom period. Total sessions, total revenue, and the cash/M-Pesa split.

Salaries

Record salary payments for each staff member. Log the amount, date, and payment method. This ties into your expenses view so your total outflows are complete.

Analytics

Revenue trend over time, peak hours heatmap, top games by session count and revenue, per-console utilisation, and payment method split. Use the peak hours view to schedule shifts where you need the most coverage.

Monitoring

Live bay status for all your monitored consoles — which are on, which have open sessions, which are flagged. Any active alert appears at the top. You can also see alert history here.

Common questions

Can I see what's happening in real time?

Yes. The dashboard and monitoring page update live. You can check from anywhere — your phone, your other job, home.

Can I edit or delete a session?

You can make corrections from the owner dashboard. Staff cannot edit sessions once paid — only the owner has that access.

Is there a mobile app?

PsTally is a PWA — it installs on your phone like a native app from the browser. Go to app.tempforest.com and use 'Add to Home Screen'.

Can I give a manager access without full owner privileges?

Full role-based access control is on the roadmap. For now, all owner logins have full access.
